Experimenting with long exposures - 2021-08-11, day 42

Yesterday I had to spend the evening in town, I had some free time so I walked around a bit trying to find some interesting to photograph. For some reason I started to play with long exposures and took a lot of people biking.

So what did I learn? That the result can be quite nice but it really depends on the shutter speed . The photo above is taken at 1/15 and that seem to be the optimal shutter speed for me to take photos of people biking in a “relaxed speed”, when I used 1/3 the result became more “artistic” (i.e. very blurry) which also is fine but different. I also realized that I need to practice to follow the subject, I, for example, would love to for person above to be a bit sharper.
