It looks like it’s time to look at JavaScript again. Many years ago I learned enough JavaScript to be able to do a few simple things but I didn’t like the language and at that time it was only used for web pages … and since I wasn’t interested in writing those kind of apps I quickly forgot everything about JavaScript.

Well, things have changed. There are now several applications that use JavaScript for automation stuff, yes I’m thinking especially about programs from OmniGroup, so now there is a good reason for learning JavaScript again. Will I like it this time … I don’t know, we’ll see.
